Torrent de Muntanya

A mountain stream in the Catalan Pyrenees. We found it during the approximation to the Pica d'Estats peak.

@elmenut: el torrent que hi havia guiava la mirada cap amunt. De fet això em va cridar l'atenció i vaig intentar que es reflectís a la fotografia. Sense aquest tipus de coses, les fotos de paisatges solen quedar poc destacades i són bastant frustants... per això quan veig una "ajuda natural" d'aquestes, miro d'aprofitar-la.

You really get a sense of the space and scope here. I like the mix of green and the cragginess.

@Henry: In this picture I think it is the stream that zigzags up the mountain and then the avenue of small fallen rocks that guide the view up to the sky, what helps in giving the sense of space you mention. Without this sort of visual help, landscape pictures (at least mine...) tend to be boring for the viewer and frustrating for the shooter (i.e., me). Thanks for the comment!

An epic image, amazing, it encompasses the whole side of the mountain following the stream down. Excellent.

@Observing: Thanks for the comment! The place was really impressive and what I found more difficult was to capture a part of it that would retain the sensation of "largeness"... if you see epic in the photo, apparently I succeeded! Happy me.
